Bird nest species.
When I finished work on the 3/2/16 I visited the woodland at the bottom of my garden for a bit of grubbing about. The first thing that caught my eye was an old bird nest. I shook it out over a white sheet and was very surprised to find : 1 Amaurobius ferox female, 2 Harpactea hombergi, possibly females, 1 Platnickina tincta sub adult male, 5 immature Amaurobius sp, 2 immature Philodromus sp, 1 Metellina merianae female, 1 immature Araneus diadematus. Not bad for about 10 mins of work!!
