For the spiders in this post, I'm already fairly certain of the ID, but please correct me if I'm wrong:

I found this colony of Steatoda nobilis (all juvenile, by the looks of it) living on a pruned rosebush, using the hollow stems as retreats. The bush was in a garden separated from the nearby house (where I observed two S. nobilis individuals in a bedroom) by several meters of patio. Apologies for the poor quality photos: the spiders were extremely difficult to lure out.
