Status: Wildlife Trust reserve
Access:

Summary: Smallish site centred around Cathkin Marsh containing a pond, open screen-hide and a walkway around the periphery of the marsh and over the marsh itself. Mainly inland marsh but also has mixed vegetation and some trees around the periphery and access footpaths.

Description: Site has mixed habitats of trees, shrubs, marsh, grasses, rushes, reeds, gravel pathways, wooden walkways over the marsh, wooden fences and handrails.

Reason for interest: Scottish Wildlife Trust site, having a variety of arachnids

Comment: I have been a regular visitor to the sight over the past 2 or 3 years and have collected a variety of spider photos.
