Species text
DistributionThe spider occurs on high ground in North Wales, northern England and Scotland, where it is fairly widespread on mountains. Records from East Anglia in the Provisional Atlas are in error for E. omissa. lt is widespread in northern and western Europe.
Habitat and ecology
Mountains. E. errata occurs under stones on high ground. It is adult from May to July.
Status
Recorded from 35 hectads since 1992, with no evidence of decline.
Threats
No immediate threats are noted but in the longer term, climate change may effect the survival of this and other montane species.
