DistributionThe species is restricted to the Highlands of Scotland. It is a boreo-alpine species in Europe.
Habitat and ecology
L. complicatus occurs on mountains, under stones etc., usually above 900 m. Adults are found from June to August.
Status
The spider is widespread on Scottish mountains, but local and never numerous.
