DistributionThe species is widespread but scattered in parts of Wales, northern England and Scotland, with few records elsewhere. It is widespread in north-western and central Europe.
Habitat and ecology
The spider is found under stones, in moss, pine needles and detritus, possibly mostly in northern and upland areas. It is adult in autumn, winter and spring.
Status
Although this species' minute size and pale coloration may mean that it has been significantly under-recorded, there appears to have been a major decline.
Threats
Threats are unknown.
Management and conservation
Not enough is known about the species to make specific recommendations, so management should aim to provide a continuity of the existing habitat mosaic.
