DistributionThe species is widespread in Wales and parts of England, but very patchy and scattered elsewhere. It has a Holarctic Distribution: and is widespread in north-western and central Europe.
Habitat and ecology
The spider occurs in moss and grass in wet areas, grassland and sometimes on waste ground. Adults have been recorded between March and December, with a peak in the summer.
Status
Generally infrequent and local.
