Our objectives include promoting the study of the Arachnida, especially spiders, pseudoscorpions and harvestmen. We wish to improve understanding of the distribution, natural history and ecology of these species and assist in the conservation of species and their habitats. We aim to make data available, where appropriate, for the purposes of conservation, research, monitoring, education and general information, but not for commercial use.
All information is provided on the basis that it will be used in accordance with these fundamental aims and permission will not be given to use the data for other purposes.
Access to and use of this website (the "Website") is provided by the Spider Recording Scheme and the British Arachnological Society (the "Society") subject to the following terms and disclaimers and by using this service you are bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms then please do not access or use this service.
- You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the Site.
